Amazing

Pictured above: narwhal light that is part of our nursery decor.  It’s so bright we can’t use it at night but we would consider using it to explore caves.

Our son arrived this last weekend just a little early and life has changed overnight. I was so anxious about the whole birth experience it was hard even to think about the next few days beyond birth in anything but a conceptual way. I’m happy to say we’ve all made it through to the other side and closer than ever as a family. My husband was the perfect rock and I will forever be grateful for his being at my side.  Otoro the kitty was also right by my side during labor while we are at home and after a little finagling with the nursing chair station, he’s got a cushion right by my side too for some late night company.  We are amazed and grateful and overwhelmed by this little guy. Of course, I think he is the best baby on the world, but I may be a little biased. 🙂

See you all again soon with that skirt breakdown when I’m able to come up a breath of air!
